Maximum

Maximum is a coastal wolverine marked head to toe in bold stripes- sometimes jagged like tiger markings, sometimes curling like flames depending on how the light hits her. Broad-shouldered and sturdy, she carries the strength of an animal used to wandering rough coastlines, but there’s a softness to her build too, rounded edges that give her an approachable warmth. Her fur often smells faintly of salt and carries fine sand in its creases, a souvenir from hours spent combing the beach.

Maximum lives a quiet, salt-soaked life on the coast with Lucía. Most mornings begin with her wandering the shoreline, searching for shells, feathers, and smooth pieces of driftwood that she carefully tucks away for later. Afternoons are spent sketching nestled under a tree or exploring deep into the woods, her pages filling with shifting coastlines or strange figures she swears she’s glimpsed out of the corner of her eye.

By nature, Maximum is a quiet and reserved creature, moving at his own pace and rarely rushing to meet the world head-on. He has a quiet mysticism about him, often more content to observe than to speak, deeply taking in his environment and the creatures he shares it with. Solitary at heart, he tends to keep his circle small, sometimes struggling to know who he can truly trust or feel comfortable around.

When inspired, Maximum carries an intensity that burns bright. He draws fierce energy from the natural world; the crash of waves, the sweep of wind, the stillness of a forest, and channels it into his art. His work carries the same force that stirs within him. Although he may initially come across as guarded, that reserve softens quickly around his girlfriend Lucía. In her presence Max sheds his hesitance, opening up with laughter and a warmth that few others see.

• Max has double paw-pads with large claws.
• Piercings: Multiple ear piercings (studs, rings, mix-and-match okay, but always present). Navel piercing (heart gem shown on ref). Tattoos included in ref; designs open to interpretation, but leans toward grunge/gothic styles.
• Likes jewelry and trinkets. layered necklaces, anklets, charms, and collected items.

• Strongly believes in aliens & the supernatural. Maximum always seems to witness close encounters with such things when no one else is around. Known for uncanny luck & strange events that can only be described as unexplainable.
• An artist, Maximum is often seen carrying around whatever sketchbook he has handy and drawing wherever/whatever he can, mostly in the marshy woods or at the beach.
